One-Hour Development Sessions Designed for Female Hockey Players

Make the most of every PA Day with Surge Girls Hockey Club's Girls Only PA Day Clinics. These one-hour, high-tempo sessions are designed to give players focused instruction in specific areas of the game. Whether you're looking to improve your skating, sharpen your puck skills, or become more confident in battles and defensive play, there's a session for you.

Players can register for one clinic or multiple clinics throughout the day to customize their development experience.

Skills & Edges

8:15 AM – 9:15 AM

Build confidence with the puck while improving edge control, agility, balance, and skating efficiency. This session combines technical skating with puck skills to help players become more dynamic in every area of the ice.

Age Group: 8 -12 yrs

Skill Level: House league & DS

Battle & Compete

10:15 AM – 11:15 AM

Develop the habits needed to win more puck battles and compete harder in game situations. Players will work on body positioning, puck protection, small-area games, and competitive drills that translate directly into game play.

Age Group: 8-12 yrs

Skill Level: Rep

Power Skating

11:15 AM – 12:15 PM

Improve stride mechanics, acceleration, edge control, speed, agility, and overall skating technique. This session is perfect for players looking to become faster and more efficient skaters.

Age Group: 8-12 yrs

Skill Level: All Levels

Dynamic D

12:15 PM – 1:15 PM

Designed for defense-focused development, this clinic teaches players how to move efficiently, control gaps, retrieve pucks, make strong first passes, defend rushes, and contribute offensively from the blue line. Great for defense, but beneficial for all players wanting to improve their defensive awareness.
