Kristen grew up in Burlington, Ontario, where she first fell in love with hockey while playing for the Burlington Barracudas. That early passion for the game ignited a lifelong connection to the sport.

She later explored other athletic opportunities and went on to play rugby at Brock University. Kristen then pursued a professional career in sports, a path she has followed ever since.

With a deep passion for youth sports, she has remained dedicated to growing the game of hockey at every level—from grassroots programs to competitive play. As the proud mother of twin daughters, Kristen now takes great joy in watching them take to the ice, learning the fundamentals, and sharing in the same love for hockey that has shaped her own life
